Opera is one of the most popular Internet browsers. Opera 10 Alpha is its latest released version. This release includes a new 2.2 version of Presto engine, and many new features to make our navigation through the Internet much more comfortable, easier, smoother, securer, and faster.

Now, for example, we no longer need to copy and paste text to a word processor to check spelling, as this is a brand new inbuilt feature. All we have to do is click on text with the right button of our mouse and select the "check spelling" option. If we right-click on a misspelled word, a popup window display a few similar words for us to choose the correct one. Alternatively, we can add words to the built-in dictionary.

It is also possible to change the user interface's appearance by downloading any of the assorted skins available. The multilingual user interface is very convenient for everyone. From the Mail menu, we can use the new account wizard to easily create e-mail, chat, and newsgroup accounts, or import an e-mail account from older versions of Opera, or a generic mbob file, Eudora, Netscape, Thunderbird, and Outlook Express. We can configure the panels (and theirs locations) that we want to be shown, show such as bookmarks, mail, widgets, notes, transfer, history, links, info, contact, and add our new panels. This program runs under Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris platforms.
